This year’s Celebration Meal for the Nigerian Schools Foundation (UK) to round up activities for the year ended on an effervescent note at U7, Orsman Road, London on Friday 29 November 2019.
The night kicked off with speeches by dignitaries especially from the British-Nigeria Education Trust. NSF top-gun Wole Sanwo gave an overview of the NSF year and he was supported by other officials including Bimbo Babarinde, NSF Director of Operations, Toks Oderinde and Bunmi Adekoya among others. A surprising highlight of the evening was a stellar performance by Methodist Girls’ High School, Lagos of the eponymous Lionel Ritchie/Commodores song, Endless Love followed by their rendition of A’int No Stopping Us Now by McFadden and Whitehead.
Several awards were presented for achievements by individuals and schools. The evening was rounded up with a cocktail of entertainment, food and drinks. Members danced through the evening to old skool and afrobeats taking the event to a climax of anticipation for the new year as NSF continues to support secondary school education in Nigeria.
