BEFFTA Founder, Dr Pauline Long and BEFFTA Global Chairman, Chief Bimbo Folayan present an award


All roads led to The Rock Tower in Tufnell Park, London, United Kingdom on 27 and 28 October 2016 for the 8th Edition of BEFFTA Awards hosted by the indefatigable Pauline Long, Entertainment guru, philanthropist and tireless mentor.

Awards were given to talented and hardworking community practitioners in all fields of endeavour spanning  black and Asian entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts in line with Pauline Long’s desire of inspiring and celebrating there unknown and unsung.

On Friday 28 October 2016, the Keynote speaker was Lord John Bird, founder of The Big Issue and renowned Anti-Poverty campaigner. There were performances by a number of artistes as well as supporting speeches by Anne Mbachu, one-time Mayor of Borough of Waltham Forest. Other dignitaries included musician Lemar, and Jamaican-Japanese fine artist, Danny Keane.
